  5. Welcome the arena of Descent, gladiators!
  6.  
  7. This level was made with the warrior in mind. 
  8. It is not too big, so won't spend all your time
  9. jumping around corners looking for the oppenent.
  10. By the same token, it is not too small where you
  11. find the oppenent around every turn.  It is made
  12. with fairness toward the warriors in mind.  There
  13. are no programmed mega or smart missles but there
  14. will be some generated at random by the computer.
  15. You have to work for those kills here with good shooting
  16. and stratagy, not just shooting a mega or smart
  17. missile into a room and let it do the work for you...
  18. unless, of course, that's what you enjoy.

  20. There are cloaking devices but no "programmed"
  21. invulnerability but, again, some will be generated
  22. at random by the game.

  24. The weapons you will find are spread- and vulcan
  25. cannons, quad lasers, laser level upgrades, concussion
  26. and homing missles.

  28. As I said, this is geared toward everyone coming into
  29. a fair fight knowing the arena and all of its tricks. 
  30. There are 7 death-match starting places and one
  31. single-player starting place for the purpose of running
  32. through it and familarizing yourself with it.

  34. Anyway, thats the story behind the arena.  Have fun and
  35. hope you enjoy it.
